I’ve spent the majority of my life obsessed with aesthetics, philosophy, and the social aspects that drive us, so the moment I discovered design it was like a light flicked on that could never be turned back off.
To me, design is a science; it’s essentially an in-the-field study of how aesthetics can drive decision, lifestyle, and even how we process reality around us. We derive so much of what guides us as people from the visual systems that we observe and interact with, and this phenomenon compels me to continue experimenting, continue producing results, and continue growing new approaches to the field.
I was awarded my Bachelor in Fine Arts: Graphic Design with a minor in Philosophy from Auburn University in 2019, but I’ve been working within the design field since high school when an adventurous firm decided to bring me on back in 2012 (which puts me in the paradoxical position of being a fairly recent grad with over a decade of studio experience).
